College Football Bowl Predictions 2014-2015: Early Las Vegas Betting Odds And Picks Against The Spread

The college football season isn’t close to being over, as 38 bowl games are scheduled before the College Football Championship Game, between the end of 2014 and the first week of 2015. As each team gets a few weeks to prepare for their matchup, most of the contests are expected to be competitive.

The underdogs are getting a field goal or less in 17 of the bowl games, and only three teams are favored by double-digits. Stanford is the biggest favorite in any game, giving Maryland 14 points.

The College Football Playoff semifinal games feature two of the biggest point spreads on the schedule. Coming off a 59-0 win in the Big Ten Championship Game, Ohio State is getting 9.5 points from Alabama. Florida State hasn’t suffered a loss since the 2012 season, but they are nine-point underdogs against Oregon.

TCU and Western Michigan finished the regular season tied for the best record against the spread at 10-2. Florida State was favored in every game, but they were the worst among bowl teams, finishing with just three wins in 13 games against the spread.
