The holiday season is months away, but families can start shopping for what is expected to be the hottest toys of the year. Walmart (WMT) released its annual Top Rated by Kids Toy List on Thursday, featuring 36 of the most sought-after toys of the holiday season.

The toy list is curated by kids for kids, with real child experts testing and selecting the toys they rate the best.

“This year’s Top Rated by Kids Toy List reflects the shift we’ve seen in toy trends and behaviors this year,” Steve Ronchetto, vice president of toys at Walmart, said in a statement. “Toys play a critical role in families’ lives as they spend more time at home and parents seek ways to keep kids engaged with learning-based play .

“More than any year before, we’re seeing strong interest across toys that stem from digital platforms, like kid influencer-created toys, interactive and educational toys , screen-free indoor entertainment and toys for active outdoor play,” he added.

In addition to the top toy list, Walmart has also introduced the Walmart Wonder Lab – a digital platform that allows kids to experience hundreds of toys without leaving their homes. With the Wonder Lab, produced in conjunction with eko, kids can unbox, test, and play with the top toys of the year all online.

Shares of Walmart were trading at $144.22 as of 12:10 p.m. EDTE, down $3.46 or 2.34%.
