Walmart Releases Top-Rated By Kids Toys: A Complete List

Walmart (WMT) has once again launched its Top Rated by Kids toy list. The list includes even more toys this year – 48 more – and adds a new category with gaming.

Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for parents to find the perfect toys for their children,” Anne Marie Kehoe, vice president of toys at Walmart said. “Our customers count on us to have an unbelievable selection of top toys at incredible prices for every gifting occasion. And, that’s especially true during the holidays.”

The addition of the Top Rated by Kids toy list comes with Walmart introducing a 25 percent increase in its toy inventory online and in stores. The retailer is also offering a National Play Day on Sept. 14, and the choice to purchase toys for in-store pick-up, free two-day shipping, layaway (starting on Aug. 30), and other delivery options.

To create the Top Rated by Kids toy list, Walmart sought out the help of a group of kids ranging in age from six months to 12-years-old. According to the company, the toy list includes “toys that appeal to today’s kids” many of which are exclusively sold at Walmart.
