As the lone talent-rich squad left in the Copa America tournament, Uruguay has become the toast of the tournament.

Uruguay faced Peru on Tuesday in Ciudad de la Plata, and forward Luiz Suarez showed why he is one of the best young forwards in the game when he scored twice against the underdog Peru side, to give Uruguay the 2-0 victory.

Suarez scored in the 52nd and 57th minute, and propelled Uruguay to Sunday's final to meet the winner of Paraguay and Venezuela.

It didn't help Peru's cause that Juan Manuel Vargas Risco picked up a red card in the 68th minute. Still, it was a great run for Peru, a country that has struggled in international competition for several years.

Here's a look at the highlights of the semifinals.
