Craig Strickland's wife, Helen Wisner, is asking fans to pray for her husband after the 29-year-old country singer and his friend went missing during a hunting trip Sunday. The former Miss Arkansas USA took to Twitter Monday night to share updates on the rescue mission, telling fans that Strickland's dog had been found but authorities are still searching for her husband.

According to KFOR, an Oklahoma news outlet, Strickland and 22-year-old Chase Morland set off on a duck hunting trip over the weekend. Shortly before heading off, Morland posted an ominous tweet about them going missing because of the bad weather.

"In case we don't come back, @BackroadCRAIG and I are going right through Winter Storm Goliath to kill ducks in Oklahoma. #IntoTheStorm,” he tweeted early Sunday.

Strickland re-tweeted his friend's message, making it the last Twitter update from both men.

KFOR reports that they were last seen about two hours after the tweet was sent. According to Oklahoma News 9, the boat Strickland and Morland was in capsized in Kaw Lake.

On Monday morning, it was revealed that Morland's body had been found in the lake.

“Everyone please say special prayers for the family of Chase Morland,” Strickland's band Backroad Anthem posted on Facebook. “They were very close friends and it is such a heartbreaking loss. Randy Strickland (Craig’s father) has informed us Craig has not been found. Please keep praying for his safety.”

A search and rescue crew stopped looking for the singer Monday night due to bad weather conditions. The search is expected to resume Tuesday.
