Dakota Fanning is officially no longer a child star. The 19-year-old actress was spotted in New York City on Wednesday holding hands with an older model who is being described as her boyfriend by multiple reports.

According to a report from Sugarscape, Fanning’s alleged boyfriend is Jamie Strachan. While not a familiar name, the mystery man is also in the entertainment industry and has reportedly worked as a fashion model for 11 years. According to New York magazine, Strachan, a 32-year-old UK native, has modeled for multiple fashion designers such as Gucci, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss and Michael Kors. While currently publicly attached to Fanning, his last famous other half was reportedly Behati Prinsloo, a Victoria’s Secret model and current fiance of “The Voice” judge Adam Levine.

JustJared reported that the duo was spotted out twice together in New York City on Wednesday, first enjoying lunch together before heading into the U.S. Open tennis championships. Reuters photographers also spotted the pair looking cozy at the match, sitting side by side and smiling. This isn’t the first time Fanning has been spotted by photographers with her rumored beau. The Huffington Post first noticed the couple after they were seen holding hands while walking in New York’s West Village together in late July.

While Fanning, who has starred in films such as “War of the Worlds“ and “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” has yet to publicly comment on the alleged romance, she did address her thoughts on relationships during an interview with Glamour magazine in March. “I have a weird vision of relationships because my parents have known each other since second grade, and they got married right out of college,” said Fanning, who admitted to not regularly going on dates. “I've always thought that's what it's supposed to be like, and if it's not, then I don't want to waste my time on it.”

Despite only recently being attached to the Strachan, Fanning may have wedding bells in her future after also revealing to Glamour that she believes romantic relationships should only be taken on if they’re to result in marriage. “Even when I was 14, I was like, ‘I’m not going marry this person. What’s the point of doing it?’” she said. “It’s not me being naive. I just know what it’s supposed to be like. And I think until I feel that, I cannot be bothered.”

Fanning can be seen next in the Victorian period piece “Effie Gray” set for an October release. The actress is currently working on the missing-children crime drama “Every Secret Thing” alongside Elizabeth Banks and Diane Lane.
