‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2012: Katherine Jenkins And Mark Ballas Slam Dating Rumors

The new season of Dancing With the Stars hasn't even started, and the rumor mills are already churning.

Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins, 31, is being romantically linked to her professional dance partner Mark Ballas, 25.

We knew each other for just twelve hours, and in the press it is we are now dating, she told The Associated Press.

Ballas' previous partners include the Olympic gold medalist -- and eighth-season winner -- Shawn Johnson.

Jenkins recently split from her longtime boyfriend, television host Gethin Jones.

They each announced the break-up via their Twitter accounts in December, the BBC reported.

Jenkins and Ballas are currently rehearsing. Their first dance is going to be a fox trot, Access Hollywood reported.

I'll make sure she enjoys this process from start to finish, Ballas told the entertainment show. I'm not really into the gossip and all that. For us it's just here to work get it done and have a great time.

Dancing With the Stars premieres on Monday, March 19 at 8 p.m. EST.
