Maksim and Val Chmerkovskiy won’t be the only sibling duo on Season 23 of “Dancing With the Stars” because the Houghs are back! A new report claims Julianne and her brother Derek Hough are both returning to the ballroom for the upcoming 2016 season, which kicks off next month.

According to E! Online, Derek will be trying to win the coveted Mirror Ball trophy as a pro dancer while Julianne will serve as a judge again. Derek, a six-time “Dancing With the Stars” champion, stepped away from the ABC competition show last year because he was starring in the Broadway production of “Singin’ In the Rain.” E! reported that because the musical was pushed back to 2017, Derek now has a little more free time.

A few weeks ago, Derek teased his return telling the outlet that he had always left the door “open” for him to make a comeback. “I’m not one for closing chapters in that way, especially for something that’s so important to me,” he said. “And that’s been like family for so many years. So, for me in my mind, that door is always open, and we’ll see!”

Julianne, who served as a judge for Seasons 19-21, also stepped away last year revealing that she wanted to focus on other projects and had “a lot of exciting stuff coming.” ABC hasn’t confirmed Derek and Julianne are returning, and the full Season 23 cast won’t be officially announced until Tuesday.

While the show is keeping Derek and Julianne’s return under wraps for now, it did confirm that Maksim will be showing off his dance moves as a pro dancer on the new season. “I’m back. I’m so excited to be back,” the 36-year-old dancer said in a video on the show’s Instagram page. “I can’t wait to perform again on ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ I have an amazing partner; can’t wait for you guys to see what we come up with.”

Other pro dancers returning to the ballroom include Witney Carson, Lindsay Arnold, Sasha Farber, Sharna Burgess, Artem Chigvinstev and Maksim’s brother, Val. Allison Holker also announced she was coming back after taking time off last year to give birth.

As for which celebrities will be twirling and sashaying across the ballroom, it’s been rumored that Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, “Brady Bunch” actress Maureen McCormick, singer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Amber Rose will be on the show. “Little Women: LA” star’s Terra Jolé’s name has also come up, along with “Bachelorette” star JoJo Fletcher and Disney Channel alum Jake T. Austin.

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 23 cast will be revealed Tuesday, Aug. 30 on “Good Morning America.” The show premieres Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
