Bruno Tonioli has conquered the ballroom but now the 60-year-old dancer is looking to master another platform: the big screen. And, according to reports, the longtime “Dancing With the Stars” judge is taking his first two-step to fulfill that dream by appearing in an upcoming movie.

“Next year I have a part in a film. It’s my first one,” Tonioli told the Mirror. "It’s very exciting, I’ve already filmed it but I can’t say anymore about it. It’s top secret.”

Although the performer was reluctant to dish any further details on his forthcoming role, he did divulge a bit of Intel about his acting past.

“I was an actor before I was a TV presenter and I really loved doing it,” he told the Mirror. According to IMDb, Tonioli has appeared in several TV series like “Blakes 7,” “Oscar” and “The Bill.” He also held a small role in the Amanda Byne’s flick “What a Girl Wants” as a “Fashion Emcee," Parade magazine reported.

However, when Tonioli made his way to the United Kingdom, his acting opportunities began to dwindle. “Because of my accent, my options were restricted when I got to the UK,” the Italian born artist said. But despite his unique inflection, Tonioli continued to pursue his goal of one day starring on the silver screen. In fact, the Emmy Award-nominated dancer revealed he’s dreaming bigger than ever before!

According to the dancer-turned-actor, he’s striving to somehow get cast in the next installment of the "Star Wars" franchise – even if that means he has to portray a not-so-fabulous part.

“My dream role is to be in 'Star Wars.' I don’t care what I’d be ... I’d be Chewbacca’s handbag, darling. If the right offer comes I will pursue it,” he said.

Hear that, director Rian Johnson? It looks like you have one less role to cast for Episode VIII!
