Danity Kane

Thanks to Chris Brown’s attempt to reaffirm his title as R&B's “bad boy," Danity Kane fans will have to wait just a little longer to witness their return to the stage.

Aubrey O’Day, Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex and Aundrea Fimbres have been packing their Instagram and Twitter feeds with images from their "Danity Kane Bootcamp" as the group prepped for its comeback show at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on Tuesday. But all of their hard work hit an unexpected snag when Brown was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning after he and his bodyguard allegedly attacked a man outside a Washington, D.C., hotel. As a result of Brown's newest legal mess, the singer's Tuesday night concert with Danity Kane was canceled. And the dreams of fans eager to see DK's first performance together in five years were immediately crushed.

In a video posted to the DK Facebook account Monday night, the girls shared their disappointment and apologized for the last minute cancellation. "Due to circumstances out of our control we are unable to do [the show]. It has been canceled," Shannon coolly explained. Dawn, Aubrey and Aundrea all appeared exceptionally upset by the setback -- Aundrea’s facial expression of fierce annoyance perfectly summing up the collective frustration of both fans and the group.

Shannon added that the group and their team were eagerly working to reschedule the show, stressing that “it has been too long and we really wanted to do this for you guys” and encouraging fans to “hang in there.” And though their Tuesday concert turned out to be a bust, the ladies of DK are still making the most of their time in NYC. Aubrey posted a photo of herself and Dawn looking effortlessly chic for the day's label meetings -- proof that not even Chris Brown can stop Danity Kane's guaranteed domination.
