He has slipped the more powerful formula of his already extremely addictive Halo drug into the glasses of champagne and cider at the party at Marton house which is celebrating the survivors from the plane crash. However, as Deimos watches things descend into chaos as he had hoped, the night will quickly go in a way he never expected on the Wednesday, June 28 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) is trying to keep himself from being found by the cops before he disappears out of town, and thanks to a disguise involving gray hair, a beard and a mustache, he has flown completely under the radar on the NBC soap, even though all the cops in Salem looking for him are in attendance at the party. He managed to slip Halo 2.0 into all of the glasses, which everyone drank from during Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) toast. Since then, things have started getting out of control.

Everyone is feeling the effects of the drug in their systems, unaware of what actually is causing them to feel the way they do. It’s no secret that both Halo and Halo 2.0 are addictive and powerful drugs, and the effects it is having on everyone seems to give Deimos the advantage he is looking for. His goal was to get the cursed Ramses amulet from Sonny (Freddie Smith), so he can sell the artifact and then use the money to assure that halo production continues in Salem even after he leaves.

Thus far, the plot to use Halo to drug everyone seems to be working. Abigail (Marci Miller) and Chad (Billy Flynn), as well as Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) have all disappeared after it became clear that Hope and Abigail weren’t themselves. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric have also gone off, wondering why they feel so weird. Eli (Lamon Archey), JJ (Casey Moss), Lani (Sal Stowers) and Gabi (Camila Banus) are all still hanging around, wondering why they feel so strange. Sonny meanwhile, is unsure of why he feels strange and can’t figure out where Paul (Christopher Sean), who didn’t drink from a drugged glass and was quickly knocked unconscious when he went after Deimos, is. Deimos will likely see his opening to get the amulet, but things won’t go the way he had hoped.

As he comes out of the hidden shadows, still in disguise, he could be surprised by what happens. While his drug is super addictive, it is also dangerous, and for some of the people at the party, all of whom hate him and want him locked away for good due to his various crimes he has committed across Salem, it could lead to them doing things they don’t mean, or taking action that none of them expect.

As for how that will affect Deimos, it will be a big shock when everyone finally comes out of their fogs when morning once again comes. As they all awaken from their drugged states and start to recollect themselves and try to move on from the party, they will be shocked when a dead body is lying in their midst—and that body will belong to none other than Deimos.

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC.
