The big day has finally arrived in Salem, and all of the town's residents will gather for the double wedding. However, an unexpected guest will also turn up at the vows to cause some mischief on the Friday, Sept. 29 episode of "Days of Our Lives."

Sonny (Freddie Smith), Paul (Christopher Sean), Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) are all ready to finally say their I do's to one another on the NBC soap, and after a few moments that seemed destined to ruin things for both couples, things are back on track and their weddings are set to still happen as initially planned. Now, everyone is Salem is ready and gathering at the church, so they can watch the two couples exchange vows and prepare to wed.

However, as per usual during a wedding in Salem, things won't go off as easily as everyone had hoped. Chad and Abigail's previous weddings have also all had their issues, with their first wedding interrupted by Abigail's fears that Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) would show up, and their second stopped when Abigail felt that Chad was still in love with Gabi (Camilla Banus) and needed to be with her. This wedding too was almost derailed when it seemed like Abigail wouldn't get her annulment from Dario (Jordi Villasousa), but that went through at the last minute, freeing her to marry her true love, this time forever.

However, the fears she had at her first wedding may be ones she should have had for this one, as Ben is still proving to be a major threat to her happiness. He was last locked up in Bayview, where he was receiving treatment to address his mental health issues, but now, a patient from there has escaped, with their goal set on getting to that wedding—and it will be none other than Ben himself.

When he barges in on the event it will be a major shock for everyone there, especially Abigail, who will be frightened by what his presence at the wedding could mean, but surprisingly, his target may not be Abigail this time around.

One of the people Ben murdered during his spree as the Red Necktie killer was Sonny's first husband, Will (Chandler Massey), and it was the biggest death of all the ones committed. The feelings Sonny had of guilt over not being there when his husband died recently led to the struggles he and Paul were dealing with ahead of their big day, though the two did talk things through and were able to reaffirm that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together now.

However, when Ben arrives, he could wind up dropping a bombshell on everyone, and it could be something which will not only halt the double wedding, but change the plans that people in Salem have forever—specifically Sonny and Paul. If he reveals the unexpected news he may have, it could drastically alter everything, and everyone, forever.

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays on NBC.
