Days of Our Lives
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) will share a kiss this week on "Days of Our Lives." NBC

Another week, another set of problems on “Days of Our Lives.” Friday’s episode left off on a difficult note with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) collapsing and Ava (Tamara Braun) knocking out Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Unfortunately for the good folks of Salem, things will only get more complicated during this week’s installment of the NBC soap opera.

For those that missed Friday’s episode, almost every character found themselves in hot water. Ava appeared to have Steve (Stephen Nichols) wrapped around her thumb after convincing him that he is the father of her missing son. Kayla was furious that Ava got to Steve, but she had bigger issues on her hands. She had to fly out to D.C. to face the national donor organization about giving Daniel’s (Shawn Christian) heart to Brady (Eric Martsolf). But Kayla never made it to D.C. Before heading to the airport, Kayla made the mistake of stopping to see Ava. She was shocked to find Joey (James Lastovic) with Ava, and sent him home. However, she didn’t follow him. Ava knocked her out with a candlestick.

Elsewhere in Salem, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) agreed to go to the police station and say Seth’s (Adam Leadbeater) death was self-defense. Meanwhile, Abigail (Kate Mansi) was ecstatic to be moving forward with her wedding to Chad (Billy Flynn). Her family members didn’t feel the same way though. Chad went to go speak to Jennifer about marrying Abigail, but their conversation didn’t get far. Jennifer collapsed shortly after telling Chad that he had to prove he was a good man.

Monday’s episode will pick up with Hope confessing to Seth’s murder. Meanwhile, Victor’s “past comes back to haunt him.” Drama will brew elsewhere as Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) does her best to try and keep Belle (Martha Madison) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) apart.

Tuesday’s installment will see Victor confiding in Maggie (Suzanne Horton) about his “twisted history with Deimos.” Claire will continue to pull out all the stops to keep Belle and Philip apart, even going as far as to bring Shawn (Jason Cook) back into the picture. The episode will also see Steve finally confront Ava about Joey.

Things will get sticky during Wednesday’s episode when Rafe and Hope “share an unexpected kiss.” Andre will make a “disturbing discovery at the mansion,” and Claire’s attempts to keep Belle and Philip apart will fail.

Rafe and Hope’s working relationship will only get more complicated in Thursday’s installment. Rafe has been helping Hope find her husband, but Ciara (Lauren Boles) thinks that Hope is actually falling for Rafe. And that’s not the only bizarre relationship twist happening in Salem. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) finds out that Brady has been “dreaming about her.”

Friday’s episode will end on a dramatic note as Belle is “tempted” to give her marriage to Shawn another shot. But what will Philip think? The synopsis teases that he’ll have to pull himself out of a “sticky situation.”
