All is fair in love and war on “Days of Our Lives.”

When the NBC soap opera last left off, Kate (Lauren Koslow) was following through on her plan to frame Nicole (Arianne Zucker) for Deimos’ (Vincent Irizarry) death. Roman (Josh Taylor) ordered Nicole to stay in Salem, but they had no body to arrest her.

Elsewhere, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) came to the devastating decision to break up with Rafe (Galen Gering) in order to see things through with Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove). She wasn’t sure if everything would work out, but knew that she had to give their relationship a second chance in order to be able to move on with her life.

However, Aiden’s not the good guy that Hope thinks he is. He teamed up with Kate in order to forge a marriage license to convince the cops that she was married to Deimos.

Friday’s installment of “Days of Our Lives” ended with an injured Deimos stumbling across a mechanic and using his phone to call Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). It was also revealed that it was Kate, not Nicole, who pushed Deimos into the river and nearly killed him.

So, where will things pick up next week?

The Monday, June 13 episode will reunite viewers with Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), who are getting ready to bring Joey (James Lastovic) back to Salem. But it’s not as simple as getting in the car. The trio get caught in a “hostage situation at the commune.”

On Tuesday, June 14, “Days of Our Lives” viewers will get to find out more about the Deimos, Nicole and Kate fiasco as Chloe helps patch up the Salem villain. Deimos is still keeping a low profile, so Nicole must attempt to convince the police of her innocence to avoid being thrown behind bars for Deimos’ murder. But what Nicole doesn’t know is that Victor (John Aniston) has a “deal” for Kate. Could this further complicate things for her?

Based on the synopsis for Wednesday, June 15, it’s safe to say that things aren’t looking good for Nicole. With Dario’s (Jordi Vilasuso) help she’ll break into the Kiriakis mansion to “find incriminating evidence against Kate.” It’s not clear if she’ll find anything that can help her, but the episode description confirms that Victor will double cross her.

Thursday’s installment will be grim as Joey ends up at a California hospital. Does it have something to do with the hostage situation from Monday? Elsewhere, Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) will receive an apology from Chad (Billy Flynn), who did something in a drunken stupor to upset her.

Finally, Friday’s episode will keep soap fans on the edge of their seats as it’s revealed that Abigail (Kate Mansi) was injured in a fire at Shady Hills. But the big jaw dropper will revolve around the Summer (Marie Wilson), Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) love triangle. Summer will confess that she has feelings for Brady, and Theresa will encourage her fiancé to move forward with their wedding ahead of schedule.

“Days of Our Lives” airs on NBC weekdays at 1 p.m. EDT.
