A dead body was found inside Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California, Wednesday morning, according to local news reports. KTVU in San Francisco, citing a law enforcement source, reported that an investigation is underway after a body was found dead in a conference room.

TMZ claims to have obtained audio of a dispatch call. According to the call, a body was found with a gun inside one of the conference rooms within the campus.

Santa Clara County sheriff's officers reportedly arrived at Apple's headquarters after a call was placed at 8:38 a.m. PDT. Based on the sheriff's dispatch, an employee with a head wound was being escorted from the Apple campus following an incident. Another section of the audio has a responding officer reporting a body, later identified as male, within a conference room. The officer was unsure if "multiple people were involved."

Another report from the East Bay Times indicated that a Hispanic male with a head wound was pronounced dead at the scene. Based on the reports, it's possible a female employee and a male were involved in the incident. Audio of the police dispatch, courtesy of TMZ, can be heard below. Neither Apple nor the sheriff’s office commented to local media. This story is still developing.
