KEY POINTS

  • The weapon is rewarded after finishing Charlie Montague's Reward Scheme game
  • Players must find boxes scattered throughout Karl's Bay to complete the game
  • The Field Nullifier in the Fathoms of Lament can be disabled

The Heritage Gun is one of the unique weapons in "Deathloop" that can be found after completing a series of challenges. This hybrid shotgun is handed to Colt as a prize for completing one of Charlie Montague's games.

Instead of simply opening a locked door, like with the Strelak Verso, the Heritage demands a bit more effort from players. Here's how to get it.

"Deathloop" Heritage Gun Location

This weapon is found in Karl's Bay and can only be acquired during nighttime, when Charlie's game of Reward Scheme is active.

Deathloop - Karl's Bay Bombs
Bomb locations can be found in the Fathoms of Lament Deathloop

Here, players will have to explore Karl's Bay and find a number of gift boxes. These gifts are either filled with loot or explosives that detonate when opened. Trapped boxes can be identified by looking at the rotating slots on the presents themselves – if they show skulls, then it's best to start running.

There are several boxes in Karl's Bay and their locations vary per player. To find the locations of each, go to the Fathoms of Lament attraction and look for a large map. All of the presents will be visible from there.

The Final Challenge

After opening the presents, head back to the Fathoms of Lament map room. There should be a door with a green light above it. Enter this new room and finish the obstacle course to claim the Heritage Gun.

Players will have to pull a number of switches in the correct order to finish the course. Stepping on any of the blue laser trip wires will cause the challenge to reset, which might make things problematic. The use of Slabs is also disabled by default, but this can be changed.

There is a Field Nullifier in one of the building's backrooms that prevents Colt from using his powers. Head to the rooftop of Hangar 1 and look for a distortion field by an open window. The Field Nullifier's battery should be visible from the roof – shoot it to deactivate the machine.

Once the Nullifier is disabled, players should be able to use their Slabs to navigate the final challenge. Pull all of the levers and head to the last room to claim the Heritage Gun.
