Syfy's “Defiance” will return July 10 with Season 3, episode 6. The episode, titled "Where The Apples Fell," is about the discovery of the Tarrs' connection to the Votanis Collective and the price that will be paid because of that revelation. It will feature the characters Datak Tarr (Tony Curran), Stahma Tarr (Jaime Murray), Joshua Nolan (Grant Bowler), Alak Tarr (Jesse Rath), Gen. Rahm Tak (Lee Tergesen) and Jessica "Berlin" Rainier (Anna Hopkins).

"Where The Apples Fell" follows events of episode 5, titled "History Rhymes," which will show Amanda and Doc Yewll asking for assistance from the Omec to rescue Nolan and Irisa from their tour of the past. Datak and Stahma also will make a major move against Gen. Rahm Tak. "History Rhymes" airs on SyFy at 8 p.m. EDT Friday.

TV Guide reports that Alak Tarr will deal with his future, including fatherhood.

The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) provided a list of guest stars appearing in "Where The Apples Fell." They include Amy Forsyth (Andina), Jessica Nichols (Geeze), Parveen Kaur (Augusta) and Amelia Burstyn (Kyeritso).

A slideshow video of promotional photos from this episode was posted on Tv100’s YouTube channel. The slideshow features photos of Nolan, Stahma, Alak, Datak, Gen. Rahm Tak and Berlin. One photo shows Nolan pointing a gun at Stahma. Another photo shows Berlin and Nolan holding Datak. As for Alak, he is shown in one photo holding a knife. The same goes for Datak, who is holding a knife and is poised to stab someone.

The "Where The Apples Fell" episode airs at 8 p.m. EDT July 10 on SyFy. Subsequent episodes include "The Beauty of Our Weapons" (July 17); "My Name Is Datak Tarr and I Have Come to Kill You" (July 24); and "Ostinato in White" (July 31).
