Dennis McCauley, a 64-year-old suburban Detroit, Mich., man, has been arrested and arraigned on charges he was allegedly living with a woman’s corpse for months in a trailer home.

When Redford Township Police Sgt. Kevin Critenden went to deliver an eviction notice at the trailer home, he discovered the corpse of 72-year-old Ann Marquis, who died of natural causes in November, the Associated Press reported Friday.

McCauley and Marquis lived together for about three years, police told AP.

McCauley was arrested Monday at Long’s Mobile Home Court in Redford Township, near Detroit, police said.

He was arraigned Friday on charges including failing to report a death, mutilation of a corpse and identity theft, AP reported. The Redford Township man did not have a lawyer as of Friday afternoon.
