Singer Drake apparently fired back at Madonna for dissing the duo’s awkward kiss at the Coachella music festival on April 12 by changing the lyrics of his song from “Madonna” to include the name “Rihanna” during the kickoff concert of his Jungle Tour at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on Sunday. The 28-year-old “Started From the Bottom” singer most likely changed the lyrics after Madonna’s insults during a radio interview on May 4. Instead of saying Madonna’s name in the first verse of the song, Drake used “We Found Love” singer Rihanna’s name instead.

Madonna, 56, insulted their liplock earlier this month in a radio interview. “I kissed a girl, and I liked it,” the “Like a Virgin” singer said during a Q and A session with “Saturday Night Online” regarding her kiss with Drake. She also said the rapper begged for it and added, “Don’t kiss Drake. No matter how many times he begs you to.”

During the duo’s Coachella performance, Drake sat in a chair to perform the song while Madonna briefly took the stage. After Madonna locked lips with singer, he immediately wiped his mouth in what many observers perceived to be disgust and surprise. Part of the reason for his reaction was reporterdly due to Madonna’s lip gloss, which he wasn’t expecting, a source told TMZ on April 13.

However, Drake defended his reaction on Instagram by posting a photo of the kiss. “Don’t misinterpret my shock!! I got to make out with the queen Madonna and I feel [100 emoji] about that forever,” he wrote.
