John Krasinski wasn’t very open in the early days of his relationship with his wife Emily Blunt. In fact, there was a time when the actor was having a hard time admitting that he’s sort of obsessed with the actress’ 2006 comedy drama film, “The Devil Wears Prada.”

“We had just started dating and she had come over to my house. She popped by in between some things and I was watching it," the actor recalled during a recent interview with E! News while promoting his new movie, “The Hollars.”

“She opened the door and I flipped the channel and she looked at me like, 'Were you just watching porn?'” Krasinski, 36, continued. “I think it was better for me at the time for her to think I was watching porn than watching ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ for the seventy-fifth time.”

Krasinski, who is best known for his role as Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom “The Office,” previously revealed to Elle magazine that “The Devil Wears Prada” is actually one of the romantic comedy films he loves most.

“I can honestly say, before I met Emily, it was ‘The Devil Wears Prada,’” Krasinski said when asked if there’s any rom-com flick he loves. “That one dosed me in a really big way. Everybody looks like they're having a blast. Everybody's wearing great clothes. When we first started dating, I didn't know that she was coming over and I was watching it, and she was like, 'Oh, what are you watching?'— and I quickly changed the channel to something dude-like.”

Krasinski, who began dating Blunt in Nov. 2008, previously revealed that he fell for the 33-year-old actress right away.

“It was one of those things where I wasn't really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I'm going to take my time in L.A.,” Krasinski said during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (via People) back in 2011. “Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, ‘Oh god, I think I'm going to fall in love with her.’ As I shook her hand I went, ‘I like you.’”

The pair then got engaged in Aug. 2009 and tied the knot in July 2010 in Como, Italy. The two share two children together: Hazel, 2, and 8-week-old Violet.

“The Hollars,” which also stars Sharlto Copley, Charlie Day, Richard Jenkins, Anna Kendrick and Margo Martindale, opens in theaters on Friday, Aug. 26. Aside from starring in the film, Krasinski also serves as producer and the director of the movie.
