It seems Perrie Edwards may be harboring some bad blood toward ex-fiancé Zayn Malik. News of the couple's split went public on Tuesday, though it is reported to have happened more than two weeks ago. Now the Little Mix singer is being accused of having thrown some shade at her former beau.

According to MTV, Edwards, 22, and her bandmates stopped at Radio Disney to promote their new song, "Black Magic." The band is currently in the U.S. on a promotional tour for their upcoming album, "Get Weird." During the appearance, Edwards and her talented gal pals were asked what they thought was the song of the summer. Much to everyone's surprise, Edwards chose a One Direction song -- but there's a catch. The U.K. native selected 1D's first song sans Malik, 22.

"I like One Direction's new song 'Drag Me Down,'" she said. "It's incredible."

The single was released July 31, one day after Malik signed his new solo deal with RCA Records. It was their first new song following Malik's departure from the band in March. Upon the song's release, Malik tweeted his congratulations to his former bandmates, saying the song was "sick."

Edwards and Malik's breakup news hit the Internet on Aug. 4. Shortly after the initial reports surfaced, People magazine claimed she was "devastated" by the breakup. Sources said she was "putting on a brave face" for the sake of fans while on the road promoting "Get Weird" but was struggling to hold it together.

A Twitter account believed to belong to the Little Mix member seemed to confirm Edwards and Malik's engagement had ended. Messages from the account thanked those close to the singer for helping her to cope during this "difficult time. Another said she was "heartbroken" but pushing through. The account was later found to have been fake and has been suspended.
