  • According to this data, the average person spends half of any given day at home.
  • Americans spend much more time at home on weekends and

    holidays-almost three-fifths of the location-reported time opposed to

    under half on an average weekday.

  • Women spend more time at home than men do on weekdays. Women also

    spend more time at home than men on weekends and holidays though the

    difference in the share of the day spent at home is not as large on

    weekends and holidays.
