It appears Zayn Malik is throwing some serious shade at the ladies of Little Mix, which includes his former fiancée, Perrie Edwards. The newly single solo artist has kept relatively quiet about his split from Edwards, 22, but has recently done several strange things on social media that has fans buzzing.

As Billboard reported, Malik, 22, participated in a Twitter survey of sorts that pitted his ex's girl group against Fifth Harmony. A music-centric Twitter account asked followers to weigh in on which single was better: Fifth Harmony's "Worth It ft. Kid Ink" or "Black Magic" by Little Mix. Followers were asked to retweet in support of Fifth Harmony and favorite for Little Mix. Malik decided to participate, retweeting the post.

The former One Direction singer's seemingly shady tweet comes just under three weeks after a similar move by Edwards. On Aug. 6, she and the ladies of Little Mix stopped by Radio Disney to promote their upcoming album, "Get Weird." During the visit, each of the band members was asked to pick a song of the summer. In a strange turn of events, Edwards chose "Drag Me Down," One Direction's latest single. Because the song is the band's first since Malik quit in April, many fans assumed it was her subtle way of dissing her ex.

It appears Malik's been busy throwing virtual shade at his former fiancée, though a majority of his moves have been far more subtle. Since their Aug. 4 split, the British pop star has favorited sexy photos of other famed females in Hollywood including Kylie Jenner and, most recently, deleted Little Mix from his followers on Twitter, according to J-14.
