This could be the perfect opportunity for anyone who dreamed of going to the land Down Under to pet a kangaroo or koala — or both.

Australia is the top dream destination for Americans to visit, according to a survey published in June. Unfortunately, less than half of Americans have a passport. Qantas Airways wants to fix that by paying the passport fee if travelers book a flight to Australia, Lonely Planet wrote in a report Monday.

Qantas Airways decided to shave $135 dollars off the cost of the flight cost, which covers the fee to get a passport. It cost $110 for the application fee and $25 for the execution fee.

Qantas would fork over the money to pay for passports "because we heard quite a few people don’t have a valid U.S. passport," they said, according to Lonely Planet.

Still want to travel to Australia, but already have a passport? Qantas wants to appeal to those travlers too. Go to Qantas.com/passportredeem and enter promo code "PASSPORT" when booking the flight to recieve the $135 discount.
