Three fugitive siblings who were on the Most Wanted List were taken into custody Wednesday, authorities said.

A manhunt for the "Dougherty Gang" was initiated Aug. 2 after the siblings reportedly fired at least 20 shots at a police officer in Florida. The officer was trying to pull them over for driving at speeds of up to 100 mph.

The trio is also suspected of robbing a bank in Valdosta, Ga. hours later. One of the robbers had an AK-47, the FBI said.

The "Dougherty Gang" consists of Ryan Edward Dougherty, 21, Lee Grace Dougherty, 29, and Dylan Dougherty Stanley, 26.

Colorado State Patrol officials said that the family was captured Wednesday in Colorado after they were spotted trying to buy ammunition for an AK-47 at a Walmart Wednesday morning.

Sheriff Kirk Taylor said later Wednesday morning that the family was spotted in a small white vehicle at a gas station in Colorado City . A deputy followed them as they left the gas station and called for backup from the Colorado State Patrol.

Taylor said that a chase of more than 20 miles ensued, beginning at 9:36 a.m. and ended at 9:43 a.m on Interstate 25 near Walsenburg, the Coloradoan reported.

Deputies said that the siblings were driving so fast that they eventually hit a guardrail and flipped their car. Lee Grave Dougherty, the eldest sibling, reportedly walked out of the car and began shooting at authorities. Lee was shot in the leg but is in stable condition.

Lee Grace Dougherty and one of her brothers were arrested after the shootout, the Pueblo Sheriff's Department. One of the brothers fled but was caught at a nearby hotel.
