Amanda Bynes would benefit from conservatorship, mental health expert Steven Horen said. Reuters

Amanda Bynes was recently admitted to the hospital on a 5150 psychiatric hold and now Drake, whom she has said very over-the-top comments about on Twitter, responded to the former child star.

The troubled star, 27, who has been placed on an extended evaluation in the hospital, wrote on her social media account she wanted the rapper to “murder her vagina” and then called him “ugly” at a later date. According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton he said:

"I don't even know who is doing that or what that's about … If that is her, I guess it's a little weird and disturbing." He continued: "It's obviously a behavioral pattern that is way bigger than me … Whoever is behind it, whether it's her or somebody else, they know people are paying attention so they keep it going."

Bynes displayed bizarre behavior for more than a year. First she tweeted the president to get her out of trouble when she received her first DWI, and most recently, she was seen acting out in New York City. The former Nickelodeon star even wore a blue wig to her court hearing.

It was first rumored that her mother was going to seek conservatorship, but after the court originally denied her mother, Lynn, the conservatorship, RadarOnline.com wrote that Lynn was going to back off.

Mental Health expert Steven Horen told the International Business Times that Bynes would be obliged to go to therapy if her parents were granted conservatorship. “It would compel her to get treatment for long enough for her to have a chance at getting better.”

“Psychotherapy helps people relearn things,” Horen explained. “It could help get her back on her feet.”
