Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb had a private work out with Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald according to FOXSportsArizona.com.
The workout occurred on the campus of Arizona State earlier in July.
The Cardinals and Eagles have been rumored to be talking about a trade of the young quarterback.
Kolb may be expendable to the Eagles since Michael Vick took hold of the starting quarterback position last season.
The Cardinals need a quarterback after the retirement of Kurt Wagner.
Kolb has a career 73.2 quarterback rating and a 60.8% completion percentage in four seasons with the Eagles.
