James Kyson’s guest-starring role in Season 5 of “Elementary” has been revealed.

According to TVLine, James Kyson — who is best known for his role as Ando Masahashi in NBC’s “Heroes” — will play Joey in episode 14 of the CBS crime drama series. The news outlet described Joey as the fast-talking CEO of a game gear company and owner of an eSports franchise.

Kyson announced his casting on Dec. 28 via Twitter. “#WorkWednesday — heading to #NYC next week for the show #Elementary... the place where I grew up. It’s been a while #BigApple #ComingHome,” the 41-year-old actor wrote in a tweet.

Kyson was born in Seoul and moved with his family to New York City at the age of 10. After studying at the Bronx High School of Science, he studied communications and broadcasting at Boston University and the New England Institute of Art.

Kyson recently appeared on CBS’ “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” and on Nickelodeon’s “School of Rock.” In addition to “Elementary,” Kyson will also appear in the Season 4 premiere of “Sleepy Hollow,” which airs this Friday on FOX.

On the film side, Kyson can be seen next in the action thriller “Misirlou” and in the comedy “Breaking & Exiting,” which are both slated to be released later this year.

The release date for Season 5, episode 14 of “Elementary” is yet to be announced, but the series returns from its holiday hiatus with episode 11 on Sunday, Jan. 8 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS. Check out the synopsis for the all-new episode, titled “Be My Guest,” below:
