NASA Astronauts Mike Fincke and Greg Chamitoff aboard Endeavour space shuttle switched their suits to battery power at 12:15 a.m. EDT on Friday, signifying the start of the final of four spacewalks for the mission, NASA said in a statement.

It will be the last spacewalk by space shuttle crew members, it said.

Endeavour was lifted off to space on May 16, and is on a 16-day mission to deliver the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) and spare parts including two S-band communications antennas, a high-pressure gas tank and additional spare parts for Dextre.

The crew members for space shuttle Endeavour's STS-134 mission are Commander Mark Kelly, Pilot Gregory H. Johnson and Mission Specialists Michael Fincke, Greg Chamitoff, Andrew Feustel and European Space Agency astronaut Roberto Vittori.
