Facebook, the world's largest social-networking site, is in talks with Nokia about ways to offer services on mobile phones, the Wall Street Journal on Thursday.

The two companies are discussing a partnership that would embed parts of the social network into some Nokia phones. The talks have been going on for months. The venture would most likely integrate contact information stored in Facebook with a phone's address book.

The company is dedicated to working with and developing partnership with mobile operators and device makers all over the world, said Facebook spokeswoman.

Facebook is also working with Palm Inc. on integrating aspects of the social network into its new mobile operating system, the Journal noted. The company is also working with Motorola to integrate its site into the mobile maker’s devices.
