Fancy Feast Cat Food gets Top Chef Spokesperson

Carla Hall, Top Chef finalist and All-Star, has been hired by Fancy Feast to promote the gourmet cat food company's TasteMakers™ competition. The contest invites cat lovers to create a signature recipe based on their own furry friend's personality and tastes - the winning recipe will become a flavor of Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys™ cat food, and its creator will recieve a cash prize along with a year's supply of Fancy Feast. The news comes weeks after the announcement that Carla Hall would be one of a rotating cast of hosts (that includes Maria Batali) on ABC's new food-oriented daytime talk show The Chew. It will be replacing one of the daytime soap operas that ABC is retiring this summer. Gordon Elliot , the Emmy Award-winning executive producer of Paula Deen's Home Cooking and Down Home with the Neelys, is producing.
