“Fast 8,” or as it's known to some fans, “Fast and Furious 8,” is just shy of one year away from premiering in theaters and the action franchise’s cast and crew are busy prepping for the next on-screen adventure. Monday, actor Ludacris posted a behind-the-scenes video of the production.

The video, posted to the rapper and actor’s Instagram page, shows the 38 year old trying on clothes for the upcoming installment. “So, I’m here at a fitting for ‘Fast 8,’” Ludacris, who plays hacker Tej Parker in the films, says in the clip. Ludacris points to the cameraman present and tells his fans he’s required to try on dozens of different outfits before shooting scenes.

“What people don’t realize … is you’ve got to try on a bunch of different clothes,” he says. “Then they’ve got to send it to the director, and the producers got to look at it and make sure that it fits right in the scene that we’re going to be shooting.”

Ludacris goes on to call the process “madness” but says he wanted to give his fans an inside look at the behind-the-scenes “craziness.”

Prior to posting the video on his page, Ludacris shared a candid of him trying on a different outfit for the movie.

While the film’s principal star, Vin Diesel, has not released any sneak peeks online as of late, the Dominic Toretto actor recently reconfirmed the release dates for the next three films. Last month, he posted to Instagram that “Fast 8” will debut April 14, 2017 — a date first confirmed by Universal Pictures at CinemaCon in April. According to Diesel’s post, the ninth and tenth films will premiere in April 2019 and 2021.

Little is known about the eighth film's plot, other than speculation it will take place in New York City. Deadline reported in January that some filming could also take place in Cuba. Members of Toretto’s crew, including Dwayne Johnson (Hobbs), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Tyrese Gibson (Roman) are expected to return. Charlize Theron is reportedly being eyed to star as a “fierce female villain." Jason Statham will reprise his role as antagonist Deckard Shaw.
