Father’s Day is right around the corner and one of the best ways to tell your dad how much you love and adore him is to give him a card. Because we know it can sometimes be difficult to find the perfect card that expresses how you feel, we rounded out some of the best electronic cards (aka e-cards) you can email to your dad.

Video E-cards

Add a little flare to your card by including a funny video. Hallmark has a nice selection of video e-cards that include a range of different themes. If your dad is a huge “Star Wars” fan, they have a card for him. If your father loves “Superman,” Hallmark also has a sweet card that lets him know he’s the superhero in your life. The selection also includes sweet video messages about fathers. Each video e-card can be customized to include a special message and the font can be changed to make it look like it was actually handwritten. In order to send the e-cards, you have to log-in to your Hallmark account or create a new one.

Humor E-cards

There’s definitely someone you know on Facebook who’s always sharing those funny picture quotes courtesy of someecards. If you don’t want to give your dad a sentimental card for Father’s Day, head over to someecards and send him a card that will be sure put a smile on his face. And they will probably put a smile on your face too because they're free.

Talking E-cards

Blue Mountain has a few cards that actually talk. You can pick from a lion wearing a crown fit for a king, a cute dog with glasses, a baby goat, a pig riding a motorcycle, a horse and other animals. The fun thing about the cards is that they say whatever you want. All you have to do is type in whatever message you want and watch as the animal recites it to your dad. In order to send the cards and check out their prices, either create an account or sign in to your existing one.

Christian E-cards

Religious e-cards may also be a good idea to send to your dad. Cross Cards has a nice selection of cards that includes biblical verses from Proverbs and other religious messages. To send one all you have to do is create an account or sign in to your existing one, and pick the card you want to send.

Personalized E-Cards

Smile Box is an application that you can download to your computer that lets you add family photos, animation and music to your e-cards. The cards are completely customizable so you can add his favorite song, pictures of you and your dad or anything else that reminds you of him. You can also send the Smile Box cards to his email or post them on his Facebook page. There’s also an option to print the cards out at home.
