Fifty Shades of Grey” is primed to take the box office by storm this weekend, but a fan edited trailer for the film has already gone viral this week. The parody video – which has over 2.5 million views – blew up, not because the video makers – YouTube production company Boo Ya Pictures – ratcheted up the sex appeal, but because they added a certain special ingredient – Steve Buscemi.

Boo Ya Pictures’ “50 Shades of Buscemi” YouTube video replaces steely leading man Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey, with clips of "Boradwalk Empire" actor Steve Buscemi from various film and TV roles. The result of the well-edited gag is a lot of laughs as Buscemi’s interjections break the serious, erotic tone of the original trailer.

In one scene, Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele asks, “Do you have any interests outside of work?” Buscemi replies – via an edited-in scene from Quentin Tarantino’s “Reservoir Dogs” – “When I order coffee I want it filled six times.”

This is not the first time this month that Buscemi has appeared in a movie or television show where he does not belong. In a Snickers ad that aired during the Feb. 1 Super Bowl, Buscemi had a cameo playing Jan from “The Brady Brunch.” The actor, along with Danny Trejo, was edited into original footage from the 1970s TV show.

“Fifty Shades of Buscemi” is also not the only viral parody trailer for the much-hyped movie. Toscano Bricks released a LEGO parody of the trailer that has nearly 4 million views.

Hopefully, the actual movie will be half as good as the parody trailers it has inspired. “Fifth Shades of Grey" premieres in theaters Friday.
