“The Flash” actress Violett Beane teased Jesse (Violett Beane) and Barry’s (Grant Gustin) faceoff against Mirror Master (Grey Damon) and Top (Ashley Rickards) in Season 3, episode 4 of the CW series. The CW

Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) is facing off against Mirror Master (Grey Damon) and Top (Ashley Rickards) in Season 3, episode 4 of “The Flash,” and Beane couldn’t believe at first that her newly transformed speedster character is going deal with these formidable baddies just for his second mission with Barry (Grant Gustin).

“It’s pretty crazy that these are the villains she’s going up against, because Mirror Master is insane,” Beane told IGN. “His power is amazing. His capabilities are great and I think this duo is going to be next to unstoppable, so it’s going to take all of Jesse and Barry to fight them.”

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Beane said that Barry does a good job mentoring Jesse. “He’s a great trainer,” the 20-year-old actress said of the Scarlet Speedster. “She does respect him and knows that he knows a lot about it, so she definitely listens to what he has to say and is taking his advice.”

Since Jesse is also a teenager, Beane revealed that her character can be careless at times. The actress told IGN: “Jesse’s younger and she just got her speed so she is kind of a little bit reckless with it, sort of the way Barry was when he first got his speed or the way anyone is when they first get a power that they don't know how they can control it or what their capabilities are.” In general, however, Beane said that it’s a good mentor-mentee relationship between the two speedsters.

According to the synopsis for the episode, entitled “The New Rogues,” Mirror Master teams up with her old partner Top to track down Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) to even a score. Jesse is quick to help Barry take down the duo but defies one of his trainer’s orders which results in disastrous consequence.

“The Flash’s” Season 3, episode 4 airs on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
