Grant Gustin as The Flash
Barry (Grant Gustin) and Doctor Alchemy come face to face with each other again in Season 3, episode 6 of “The Flash.” The CW

Barry (Grant Gustin) is finally going to discover where Doctor Alchemy’s hideout is in the next episode of “The Flash.”

The trailer for Season 3, episode 6, entitled “Shade,” shows Barry and Doctor Alchemy coming face to face with each other again. This time, however, the Scarlet Speedster meets the masked villain in his very own lair. While the preview clip doesn’t exactly show how Barry learns where Doctor Alchemy is hiding, promotional photos for the episode suggest that The Flash locates the baddie’s den while looking for Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale)

In the preview clip, Wally is having visions about being the Kid Flash in the Flashpoint timeline, and that means that it’s just a matter of time before Doctor Alchemy lure him to his lair and grant him super speed.

As revealed in previous episodes of the current installment, Doctor Alchemy is transforming everyone who had powers in the Flashpoint timeline into a metahuman through a mysterious process that is yet to be revealed. Edward Clariss (Todd Lasance) and Frankie Kane (Joey King) were the first two individuals that were given powers by Doctor Alchemy. Edward became the villainous speedster The Rival while Frankie was turned into Magneto-like metahuman named Magenta.

In episode 3 (“Magenta”) of the season, Wally actually mentioned to Jesse (Violett Beane) that he has dreamt of becoming a speedster. Although it’s unclear whether he was being literal when he said that, it’s possible that Doctor Alchemy has already been trying to connect to him as early as that time.

Since Team Flash knows that Doctor Alchemy will try to get Wally to come to his lair, they decide to lock Wally up in one of the metahuman cells at S.T.A.R. Labs. For some reasons, however, Wally gets out the cell and finds himself having a fist fight with his sister Iris (Candice Patton).

Although Barry admits to Wally that he’s scared of what’s happening to him, Central City’s original speedster is definitely going to do his best to save Wally from any harm. After all, Barry is blaming himself for everything that’s happening. “It’s all because I created Flashpoint,” he says in the trailer.

“The Flash” Season 3, episode 6, entitled “Shade,” airs on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
