Julian (Tom Felton) learns about Earth-2 in Season 3, episode 13 of “The Flash.”

In the trailer for the episode, Barry (Grant Gustin) seemingly tries to recruit Julian to join him on a rescue mission in Earth-2. “A friend is lost on a parallel Earth and we’re gonna go get him back,” Barry tells his fellow CSI at Central City Police Department.

Julian is shocked to find out about Earth-2, but he appears to be curious about it that he ends up joining Barry, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) to the parallel Earth.

At the end of last night’s episode, Jesse (Violett Beane) arrived on Earth-1 and told Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) that her father, Harry (Tom Cavanagh), has been abducted.

Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and Julian travel to Earth-2 Gorilla City to save Harry, but they are immediately captured and brought to Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov). As seen in the preview clip, the members of the quartet are individually locked up in cages. It seems, however, they won’t be spending a long time behind bars, as the synopsis for the episode reveals that Grodd needs their help to stop Solovar (voiced by Keith David) — the leader of Gorilla City — from invading Earth-1.

Meanwhile, Jesse decides to stay on Earth-1 to help Wally take down a metahuman that can control gravity. With most of the team gone, H.R. (Cavanagh) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) are forced to guide the young speedsters from S.T.A.R. Labs.

The episode is the first installment of the Gorilla Grodd two-parter. It is directed by Dermott Downs from the story by Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing and David Kob.

“The Flash” Season 3, episode 13, titled “Attack on Gorilla City,” airs on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
