Rapper Flavor Flav is in trouble with the law again. The 56-year-old was taken into police custody early Thursday morning after Las Vegas highway patrol found he was breaking several laws.

The Public Enemy rapper was initially pulled over at 12:30 a.m. PDT when he was clocked doing 73 mph, 28 mph over the speed limit. After pulling him over police found that he had a suspended license, did not have a valid vehicle registration and was under the influence. They found an open container of alcohol and marijuana in the 2005 BMW.

He was taken to the station where authorities ran blood alcohol tests on him. After posting his $7,000 bail, he was released. The results of those tests have not yet come back.

This isn’t Flav's first run-in with the law. The rapper turned reality star was busted for speeding in New York in January 2014. He was said to be en route to his mother’s funeral at the time. After running his license, police discovered it had been suspending upwards of 16 times. TMZ reported the suspensions were a result of several unpaid parking tickets. He was arrested and charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. Police later released him without bail.

Neither Flavor Flav nor his spokesman have commented on his arrest.
