Abby Lee Miller recently appeared in court to face a possible prison sentence after she pled guilty to bankruptcy fraud last year.

Prior to her hearing, the former “Dance Moms” coach told Entertainment Tonight that she felt nervous while waiting for the court’s decision. An insider also told the publication that Miller appeared to have tears in her eyes when she entered the courtroom. She was dressed in an all-black ensemble, and her hair and face were fully styled and made-up.

Some of Miller’s friends were also present, and they were seated in the last row of the courtroom. When Miller approached them, she was heard telling her friends “thank you” and “I love you.” During lunch time, Miller stayed in the building. She also offered to pay for the meals of her friends, but they refused.

In March, Miller sat down for an interview with the same publication, where she shared that someone has been hired to help prepare her for her upcoming sentencing. “My attorneys in Pittsburgh have hired someone that prepares you – that mentally, physically prepares you. I’m not a real physical person so, you know, we’ll see. There’s no sense. People ask me, ‘Aren’t you worried, aren’t you this, aren’t you that?’ I can’t think about it. I have to live every day. I just don’t want to fight anymore, I have, like, this much fight in me left. I don’t want to do it anymore, just save my tears for the pillow,” she said.

Meanwhile, the publication also noted that Miller didn’t appear to have lost a considerable amount of weight despite recently undergoing gastric bypass surgery. The reality TV star went under the knife on Monday and was panicking when she told the publication that no one will freak out if something bad happens to her.

She also said that she hopes the surgery will make her feel better about herself. “I think this is a good thing, and hopefully I’ll be in the best shape of my life. That’s what I’m looking for,” she said.

In other news, Miller’s post as the coach on “Dance Moms” was recently given to “Dancing With the Stars” pro Cheryl Burke. Lifetime has decided to order four more episodes for Season 8. The filming for the final four episodes has also commenced. “It’s a go with or without Abby. It’s been up in the air because the network said it’s either all of the cast or they weren’t doing any more episodes,” a source said.

Another insider revealed that Miller had been absent from filming a couple of episodes, and celebrity choreographer Laurieann Gibson had to step in. But when she returned to film an episode, Miller started giving the producers countless demands. This included her request that no one will mention “jail time” in the reality show. She also demanded that Gibson be asked to leave “Dance Moms” while she’s around.

On her Instagram account, Miller previously posted a cryptic message announcing her departure from “Dance Moms” after seven seasons.
