Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was found guilty of corruption on Tuesday.

Olmert -- the first former Israeli PM to go on trial -- was convicted of fraud and breach of trust, but was acquitted on two other charges.

It was not clear if his conviction will result in a custodial sentence.

Olmert held office from 2006 to 2009 in a term plagued by various scandals.

He is the first Israeli prime minister to face criminal charges that carry the possibility of imprisonment.
