Former Playboy Playmate Pamela Anderson to Play Virgin Mary

Former Playboy Playmate Pamela Anderson is set to play the Virgin Mary after landing the role in a comedy sketch on the Canadian TV show A Russell Peters Christmas Special.

A Russell Peters Christmas special will air Dec. 1. Indo-Canadian comedian Russell Peters will play her Biblical husband, Joseph. Other cast members include Michael Bublé, Ted Lange, Jon Lovitz and Scott Thompson, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Web site also noted that the Canadian show will feature a mix of stand-up and sketch comedy, stop-motion animation and musical performances.

Besides being a former playmate, Anderson is best known for her sex tape with former husband Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. She also had a sex tape with Bret Michaels, the frontman of the band Poison.

Anderson also starred in the TV series Baywatch.
