Mildred Baena, the housekeeper who had a child by Arnold Schwarzenegger, finally broke her silence on Tuesday.

Last month, the former housekeeper for Schwarzenegger, and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Maria Shriver, became a household name when it was revealed that Schwarzenegger fathered her now 13-year-old son.

In an exclusive interview with Hello! magazine, which just hit stands in the U.K., and is the first interview from Baena since the scandal publicly broke, Baena talks about the boy's resemblance to Schwarzenegger. And when her son, Joseph, was told that Schwarzenegger was his father about a year ago, the boy's reaction was simply: Cool!

The Guatemalan-born Baena said Shriver was also among many people to notice the resemblance between her young son and the now-former governor of California, Hello! reported.

It was as Joseph grew and I started to see the resemblance that I wondered - but it became more apparent as time went on, she said.

Last summer, I brought Joseph over to the house. Until then, he hadn't been around very much. After that, people in the house started whispering about how much they looked like each other.

And that included Shriver.

Maria would ask if I needed to talk to her, and I kept saying no. Finally, she asked point blank. Maria asked me directly if Joseph was Arnold's son, and I just broke down. I dropped to my knees and I was crying, saying that, yes, he was, and I was so sorry, Baena said in the interview.

Hearing the news, She cried with me and told me to get off my knees, Baena said of Shriver. We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault, that it takes two.

Last month, Schwarzenegger acknowledged fathering the child, who is looking forward to building a relationship with his father, the magazine reported.

Schwarzenegger and Shriver, who have been married for 25 years, have both reportedly hired divorce attorneys.
