There's a parade of new cars coming to “Forza Motorsport 6” this week. Following hot on the heels of the “Forza Motorsport 6” Garage announcement featuring 40 cars and the E3 2015 announcement of over 100 cars, 39 more vehicles are being added to the roster, making it the biggest that “Forza Motorsport” will have yet.

This was announced by Microsoft and developer Turn 10 Studios in the latest update, complete with screenshots and descriptions of the best cars in the newest roster. Volvo and BMW lead the pack of newcomers.

The 2014 Volvo #13 Polestar Racing S60 STCC has seen championship after championship and has taken title after title. Its track record was made possible by the 3.5 liter 6-cylinder and 420 hp capability. The 1999 BMW #15 Motorsport V12 LMR is the definitive version of BMW’s prototype into the open-cockpit model and has since then been a quick car fit for racing.

The other cars joining the roster include vintage vehicles such as the 1965 Mini Cooper S, the 1945 Jeep Willys MB and the 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Newer-model cars include the 2015 Audi S1, 2013 BMW M6 Coup and the 2012 Bowler EXR S.

The developer provides the full list of cars previously announced for “Forza Motorsport 6.” Note that some of the cars can either be obtained in car packs or as retailer or preorder bonuses.

At E3 2015 in June, Turn 10 Studios revealed some aspects and dynamics that will be at play in “Forza Motorsport 6.” Apart from showing a trailer, seen below, the Verge reported that it also will include a whole new level of destructible environments. Making use of the Xbox One hardware and improving on its predecessor, “Forza Motorsport 6” will feature dynamic weather, a 24-car multiplayer and more destinations.

“Forza Motorsport 6” is an Xbox One exclusive racing simulation game. Currently, its complete count of cars is 450. Expect even more cars to be announced before the title hits retailers on Sept. 15.
