Famed cake maker Buddy Valastro of the reality show Cake Boss on TLC decided to get in on the 7-Eleven Free Slurpee day 2011 action and made the convenience store chain a Slurpee-styled birthday cake.

If you're familiar with the show, you know Valastro is capable of making some fantastic-looking cakes -- and the 7-Eleven cake doesn't disappoint. The cake, which is colored blue at the Slurpee portion of the cake, is fairly large and could easily feed quite a few people.

7-Eleven's corporate Twitter account tweeted out a picture of the cake and said; Now THIS is a birthday cake. Thanks @CakeBossBuddy for the #Slurpee inspired cake. #FreeSlurpeeDay.

The Dallas, Texas-headquartered company is giving free 7.11-ounce Slurpees to customers in its stores around the world. The company expects to give away more than five million Slurpees in its close to 40,000 stores on Monday.

The company got the licensing rates for the Slurpee from the ICEE company in 1967.
