Parents usually try to motivate their children to go to school in a number of different ways. One father, however, has topped the list.

Rain Price, 16, it seems, is more embarrassed than motivated to step inside the school bus every morning. His father, Dale Price, has, for the past 170 days, dressed in elaborate costumes to see his son off in the mornings... in the process playfully messing with his image, in front of his friends. Certainly a creative man, Price has masqueraded as characters from Wonder Woman to the video game character Mario.

The whole routine started rather simply one day, to embarrass Rain. It has now become something the other teenagers on the bus look forward to every day.

I just find it funny now, Rain said to a local television station, according to a Daily Mail report, continuing, Like, nice that he can wake up early with me and wave and say goodbye, but it's kind of embarrassing at the same time.

Price has words of praise for his son's ability to take the joke, writing, on the family blog: He is genetically predisposed to having a good sense of humor. He's a fun, likable guy, with a 4.0 GPA in Honors classes. He plays the trumpet in the American Fork High School Marching Band (state champions).

If you look closely at some of the pictures, you'll see that he and his friends were waving back. He knows how to laugh. (Rain)'s a great kid, the blog, Wave at the Bus, continues. Price, for whom it is Halloween every day, has been married to his wife, Rochelle, for 22 years.

The blog also explains that the process of dressing up every day is neither time-consuming nor expensive.

We have spent less than fifty US dollars on costumes and props for this blog. Most of these costumes were borrowed from neighbors and friends (you'd be surprised what your neighbors have in their closets!), or found in our own costume boxes from years past, the blog reads.

Price, who does not repeat his costumes, says he is going to be more creative and come up with new options.

Here is a YouTube Video of Price's different costumes...
