Hot off Vin Diesel’s appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the newest addition to the “Furious 7” cast appeared on the show to promote the upcoming action flick and revealed some new, plot-detailing footage Tuesday.

Kurt Russell plays a mysterious government agent named Mr. Nobody in the new movie from Universal. Despite being one of the most highly-anticipated movies of the season, precious little is known about the plot of "Furious 7" other than the brother of the villain from the sixth movie, Decark Shaw (Jason Statham), is returning to get revenge on Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his crew.

Despite the film's plot being kept under wraps, the 64-year-old actor brought a clip to the popular late night talk show that gave fans a few more hints at what's at stake in the new adventure. Apparently, Mr. Nobody wants to get his hands on some kind of powerful computer program called “God’s Eye.” Russell's character reveals he needs Toretto’s help to get it, and offers him the ability to use it to find Shaw and get revenge for the murder of Han (Sung Kang) which occurred in the post-credits sequence of “Fast 6.”

While plot details he revealed ahead of the April 3 movie were worthwhile, Russell wasn’t done dropping teases there. He opened up about the rumors started by his co-star earlier this week involving the inevitable eighth installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise. With the tragic loss of Paul Walker, the newer movies will lean on a hefty bit of star power to fill the void – and Russell teased he will most likely be a part of that plan.

“I got an idea, a sense of what Vin maybe wants to do in the future that this character could be a good part of. We created somebody that I think is, you know, he’s a mystery man, he’s ‘Mr. Nobody’ we never know his name and you never know quite what world he’s in and I think that’s what’s fun and exciting about it,” Russell said to Kimmel, sporting an outrageous mustache for his new movie. “If they do more and if it goes on, we’ll try to do something to top this, which I’ll tell you is going to be pretty hard to do.”

“Furious 7” hits theaters on Friday. It will reunite the gang which also includes the late Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Dwayne Johnson. Check out the clip from Russell's appearance on the late night show below.
