Brittany Daniel and Adam Touni hit the Aspen slopes a few days after getting engaged on Christmas Day.

Daniel, who is best known for her roles on the 1990s syndicated teen drama “Sweet Valley High” and on CW/BET dramedy series “The Game,” shared a photo of her with her real estate agent fiancé who appears to be in his snowboarding gear.

While the photo only shows Daniel and Touni, the former’s latest Instagram post revealed that they aren’t celebrating their engagement alone. In the caption for a snapshot of the couple with a buddy, Touni wrote that some of their close friends were traveling from San Francisco to Aspen with them.

In an interview with E! News, Daniel shared how Touni asked her to marry him. “We hiked to Tennessee Valley Cove in Marin County and then drove to the Marin Headlands … a scenic look out to the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge,” the actress said. “He [then] got on his knee and asked if I would marry him. I was in shock and grabbed and hugged and kissed him. Cars driving up the hill began honking and people all around us began cheering.”

The soon-to-be Mrs. Touni added that she’s grateful to have found a man who truly loves her after her battle with stage IV non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which she has since recovered from.

“I’ve waited 40 years to meet my now best friend, and life partner, Adam Touni!” Daniel said. “Finding love after surviving such a serious health crisis makes me feel such gratitude for finding a true partner and makes me believe that anything is possible. We look forward to having children in the next couple of years.”

Shortly after the proposal, Daniel and Touni also took to Instagram to share the happy news with their followers. See their posts below:
