A “Game of Thrones”-themed "Monopoly" game will reach buyers later this year. This version of the popular board game will include characters, locations and items from the well-known fantasy drama series, which debuted on HBO in 2011.

Playing pieces include a dragon egg, a white walker, a three-eyed raven, a direwolf, the Iron Throne and a drown. Instead of green plastic houses, the “Game of Thrones” version of "Monopoly" will include tiny villages. The red plastic houses usually included in "Monopoly" will be keeps.

This version of "Monopoly" will be for players 18 and up. The game will be priced at $60.

“Game of Thrones” isn’t the first television show to be immortalized by the Monopoly franchise, which is published by Hasbro. “The Simpsons” also has its own version of "Monopoly."

"Monopoly" originated in the United States in 1903. The current version was first published by Parker Brothers in 1935.
