It looks like George Clooney might be taking his upcoming wedding overseas.

According to a print report from the latest issue of Star Magazine, Clooney, 52, and his fiancée, British lawyer Amal Alamuddin, 36, are already in the midst of wedding planning just days after sources announced their engagement. While an official date for the duo’s nuptials is unknown, an unidentified pal of the “Gravity” actor dished that the couple is considering possibly tying the knot at Clooney’s Italian Villa Oleandra in Laglio on Italy’s Lake Como, the insider calling the location a "prime venue candidate."

“Ever since George bought his place in Lake Como, he’s joking about it being the absolute perfect place to have a wedding,” Clooney's pal said, adding that the actor never thought that the affair would be his own. “Marrying any of his ex-girlfriends was never even a passing thought but Amal makes him very happy," said the source.

According to the report, Clooney and his barrister lover are not only hashing out a possible location for their wedding, they’re also rumored to be working on who to include on their coveted guest list. "Brad, Angie, Cindy Crawford, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt will all be invited,” said the insider, adding that Crawford’s husband, Rande Gerber, will most likely serve as Clooney’s best man during the ceremony. “It’s going to be an absolutely lavish affair,” said one pal.

Clooney reportedly proposed to Alamuddin at his home in Los Angeles on April 22 over a home-cooked meal. “He surprised her by getting down on bended knee and presenting her with a ring. He was so happy she accepted,” a source told Page Six.

The couple of seven months first sparked engagement rumors after Alamuddin was spotted sporting a sizeable bauble on her ring finger in Los Angeles last Thursday. The “ethically mined" and "emerald-cut" diamond ring, which Clooney is rumored to have helped design, is speculated to be 7-plus carats, according to People Magazine.

While Clooney has yet to speak about his new leading lady, his family has already shared their approval for his bride-to-be. “We are thrilled for them. We love Amal. We think they’re a wonderful match and wish them well,” Clooney’s father, Nick Clooney, 80, told Radar Online Monday. “You can say I’m extremely happy,” Clooney’s 74-year-old mother, Nina Clooney, added. “Amal’s a lovely girl. I like her very much.”
