As the filming of the female-led “Ghostbusters” reboot continues in Boston, director Paul Feig revealed the names of the main characters. They will be called Erin Gilbert, Jillian Holtzmann, Abby Yates and Patty Tolan.

Feig gave out the names on a Twitter as a response to a fan inquiry. Though he did not say which actress will play which character, the collage included in the fan's tweet provided some hints. According to the photos included in the collage, Melissa McCarthy’s character will be called Abby Yates, Kristen Wiig will play Jillian Holtzaman, Kate Mckinnon will play Erin Gilbert and Leslie Jones will play Tolan.

It is not known how will these four characters connect in the film as the official plot details have yet to be revealed. Last week Feig also took the opportunity to share the photo of the female Ghostbusters in the costume. They appear to be standing in front of Ecto-1 vehicle and are carrying proton packs on their back. Their costume consists of brown full suit with orange stripes on the chest. They can also be seen wearing black gloves and black boots.

Feig has said in a previous interview that it was hard for him to decide the cast. “It was the hardest thing in the world to put those four together in my head. I took months and months, walking around, when there are so many potential casts for this movie. it was a slow mixing – I just can see, I had to see it. I always knew I wanted Kate, because I know Kate from SNL, and I’ve got to hang with her a bunch, and really just love her,” he said to Nerdist.

Feig wrote the screenplay with Kate Dippold based on the characters created by Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd in the 1984 original. The cast also includes Chris Hemsworth, Michael Kenneth Williams and Nick Austin. Hemsworth will play the role of receptionist called Kevin. The film opens July 15, 2016.
